Chrysler News Should Lead to a Much Stronger Company

The recent news about the Chrysler bankruptcy is not something that should be feared, but promises to be very positive news for customers, dealerships and Chrysler Corporation.

In the short term it means Chrysler will operate with business as usual—with all warranties honored, robust sales incentives and all Bill Marsh Chrysler services as you would expect.

In the long term it appears Chrysler will come out of bankruptcy as a leaner, much stronger company. Chrysler will be able to shed some of the debts and liabilities that have created a dark cloud above the company during this unprecedented downturn in the economy. All this will take place in a very short period of time.

The alliance with Fiat will result in new product and new advanced technology in the vehicles we sell at Bill Marsh.

Over the next few weeks Chrysler will review all of its dealerships and shrink the number of locations that sell their products. Again this is very good news. It means that the most viable dealerships will continue with the new Chrysler Corporation. It means the level of service and attention to all customer needs should be greatly improved. We know that Bill Marsh Chrysler has been on very solid ground in recent years both financially and in customer satisfaction, and as a result we are very confident that we will play an important part of the new Chrysler Corporation.

The term bankruptcy carries many negative thoughts, but from what has been outlined it appears this bankruptcy gives a needed “time out” for Chrysler. It allows this 83-year-old auto manufacturer to be reborn as a new vibrant car company. It protects our customers and assures that their warranties will be backed, new exciting cars will be developed and Chrysler will come out of bankruptcy as a formidable competitor. The new company will emerge with an advantage in product, cost and value.

We welcome the changes and look forward to bringing you a great line of Chrysler products well into the future.
